Here's a list of information & upcoming events coming up before school is out for summer break:
This week (May 6th - 10th) is our school's Staff Appreciation Week (click to see pics). We want them to know we appreciate all they do! We (Wendy & Candie o) have been giving the school's staff little thank-you gifts (more pics) each day this week and have planned to bring in an appetizer of spring rolls (Friday), as well as, asked for volunteers to bring in some desserts for the staff's Friday lunchtime.
Junior Olympics is this upcoming Saturday, May 11th at French Field. Come on out & support our Millennium track team! After this, our track season has come to an end. Way to go Trailblazers!!!
Wear your "mismatched/crazy socks" Spirit Day on Thursday, May 16th.
The morning of Friday, May 17th is Breakfast & Books, followed by Popcorn and Smencil sales during lunch recesses. This will be a busy day! Wow! If you can volunteer to help with these activities, please let us know ASAP. Thanks!
Wednesday, May 22nd is a Late Arrival Day
The Health & Fitness TIPS Night is Thurs., May 23rd. Also, incoming kindergarteners "Launching Learners" is from 5-6pm (this will include kindergarten registration).
Monday, May 27th is Memorial Day - No School
On the morning of Thursday, May 30th there is a Virtue Assembly - Perseverance (10:15 am)
Wednesday, June 5th is Late Arrival Day. Also, there is a PTO Meeting scheduled (6-7pm in Millennium's library)
The last Popcorn Day is scheduled for Friday, June 7th! Volunteers needed!
FYI: school staff, district employees, and VOLUNTEERS - there is a Scholastic Warehouse Sale for you from June 12th- 22nd. If you have volunteered at Millennium - this includes you! Their hours are M-F: 10am - 7pm, Sat: 9am - 5pm, and Sunday: closed.
Thursday, June 13th there is a Virtue Assembly - All Virtues (2:35 pm) & wear your school colors SPIRIT DAY!
June 17th is the 6th Grade Celebration! Good times. Plus, yearbooks will be passed out to those 6th graders that have paid for them.
Field Day is June 18th! I am sure volunteers will be needed. I am guessing that Mr. Osborn will be the one to talk to if you are interested in helping with the field day events.
And of course....The Last Day of School is Wednesday, June 19th! WooHoo - Summer Break!!!
